The Headley Homestead at The Village Green

A nice quiet scenic location for larger groups, but let down by a range of frustrating issues. Positive: Lovely clean and spacious accommodation. Estate provides seclusion and access to challenging or easy walking trails for those that are into this. A very scenic location. Pool was very cl and and enjoyable to use. Barbecue was great for cooking meals for a large group. Negative: There are a number of things that let down the experience of staying at the Headley Homestead. Wifi coverage is really poor, meaning we needed to rely on Mobile data, and the TV would not connect to streaming content without extended delays. We needed to connect it to a mobile hotspot. The kitchen has a range hood that does not vent to outside, resulting in noxious gas fumes flowing into the kitchen. And the refrigerator is too small for large groups, with missing or broken shelves. There is nowhere to easily purchase groceries, so this is a major issue as you need to bring supplies if staying for an extended period. The TV had a third party "Click" remote that does not work properly at all. And a blind is missing from the front windows making it hard to watch movies etc during the day without major reflections.

We had a wonderful stay at Headley homestead. The rooms were clean and the pool/spa, bbq and grounds were fantastic.

Looking forward to our next visit!! Positive: Beautiful location well furnished and had all essential utensils as well. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and the caretaker was so helpful and warm. He attended immediately to getting the fire lit up for us and any other things we needed. Thanks heaps for making our family get away the more comfortable!!!😊

Lovely place but needs better management Positive: - beautiful property, gorgeous house - 3 bathrooms are great - Lovely bed linen - Laundry provisions provided - Nice fire place - Spa was lovely and warm in winter and easy to control - Very private, quiet & safe - Dog friendly - perfect size for a group - big dining table Negative: - No check in instructions sent, thus very poor communication. - No welcome note, goodies left like local produce or fresh flowers from the garden. - Kettle is filthy. - Bath with no bath products. - lamp in master bedroom doesn’t work - Little touches missing like a first aid kit, hygiene products - Tv ridiculously slow, despite many attempts we couldn’t get Netflix to work as it’s so slow. - No electric blankets. - No pool/spa towels left.

Positive: The property was super clean, great location and views
